LMAO..The new T4R.ORG is kind of contradicting
I don't care, personally I think that picture looks really good with the American Flag on the back, and not because I am American, but because it just looks good. I am sure it has something to do with the colors: it really brings out the vehicle.
But with that said you have to see the humor in that add. True "partiots" or persons that consider themselves partiots are the same ones that go, "I buy only American", "I don't buy that Japanese garbabe", and so on. As a 4 Runner owner I know a Toyota will outlast a Ford always, but the fact is those are the kind of vehicles that are made by Americans. So putting an American Flag behind a Japanese vehicle really doesn't make sense. Also I have seen Canadian members here, so that makes even less sense. What would make more sense but not complete sense is putting the Texas flag in the back since this is Thai's site.

Yeah I remember seeing that American flag / Bald eagle rrear window tint once on a Japanese SUV and thinking to myself that it just looked out of place - probably not a good idea to go off-roading by yourself in certain parts of North Florida with that setup
However, the new logo at the top is just a seasonal header for the month of July. Momo's creative juices have been flowing - looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us for Halloween

Tell that to my buddy that gets on my case about my 4 Runner: he owns a Ford pickup, and was in the Army, and if you saw his garage you would know what kind of personality you are dealing with. But the funny thing is, everytime he looks into my truck, he says the same thing every time, "nice truck!"

How about that fact it is the 4th of July weekend and we, as free-market loving Americans that buy whatever we want, want to celebrate and it's nice to see T4R run that theme with the flag on the logo and with our July 4ROTM?
Patriotism isn't defined by what we buy, it is defined by WHO we are.

Speaking of out of place, I can't remember how many times I see little cars made by Nissan and Toyota with Harley Davidson stickers on the windows.

Yeah, lol
Also, have you seen the ferrari stickers on random cars? I've even seen ferarri stickers on amazing garbage like an escort. That felt really out of place.

Never mind the fact that a great many Toyota vehicles (though not T4Rs) are actually MADE IN THE USA. Moreover, if I recall correctly, more than one domestic (US) brand manufactures cars outside of the USA. I know the transmission in my 02 Exploder was made in France (no wonder two of them failed within 3 months ).
It's a global economy with large multi-national coporations. The made in America only purchasing philosophy from the 70's and 80's doesn't make much sense any more.
The flag looks cool and consistent with the 4th of July celebration in the US (also celebrated by some in the UK as if that makes any sense at all).

Nothing for nothing dude, but this site is owned by an American who happens to live in Texas. Texas are one of many states proud to be Americans. Now if this site was owned by someone who lives in Canada then it makes sense to have the Canadian flag.

I'm glad it's just seasonal, otherwise I'd be a little miffed. (Even if Canada Day and Independence Day both fall in July, who cares about Canada right?)

I totally agree. If you had a site I am sure you would (or at least hope you would) be proud to fly your countries flag. I am proud to say I made the header and never had a second thought about it. It is my way of showing my support for out troops. I am sorry it might have ticked you off a little, but it is what it is. I would say 99.9% of Americans are not fair weather fans of our country and love every day of living here. It isn't like we just root for our team only when they are doing good and not when we are in a slump.

Go **** yourself Scofco. And don't bother responding to the PM I sent you 10 days ago - the offer is revoked

Wow...
(btw, this is mainly a response for the guy who got pissed about Canadian independence not being represented)
Whats with the immense contraversy? I'm not from the US and personally, I didn't even think about it being 'against' me or contradicting. Its a US site owned my a US citizen, let it be. Go give shit to all the .uk sites that have UK flags and most certainly all the Canadian sites with their Canadian flags. How about Labatt Blue with their 'offensive' maple leaf and Molson Canadian with the country in its name. I don't know one US beer with the words United States or subsequent abbreviations in their name.
Whatever... just get over the fact that its just a picture, a logo, a website and just the internet. Get over yourself man. Go hang a Canadian flag outside your door to compensate for your hindered pride.
Personally, I get angry when I'm on the highway and I see eight straight cars in a row with ten 'God Bless America' and 'US Pride', just because I'd rather it 'God Bless the World'... and sometimes its irritating to see too much pride, but this isn't the case. Momo created a great design and people just flipped at the sight of a flag. Get over it... a couple more days, fourty seven more visits to T4R.ORG, twenty three more shits and thirty moons from now and it'll surely have changed, and your simple life will be back to its normality.
