just picked up new lights from my buddy that imports them from china. gonna throw them on the cbi ditch mounts and throw the cheapo hids on the bumper for now. the leds will be angled out to each side a bit to give me some good corner lighting.

Hey guys. Question for anyone who cares. I'm getting the toytec lift kit for my 3rd gen and was wondering what rear cool I should go with. What will keep it level and provide enough support for a plate bumper?

ether OME 891's or toytechs superflex coils, if your not on a budget the sonaron steel 1.2 kit comes with lc coils.

The superflex coils say they're 3.75". Will that lift the rear higher than the front?

Yes. I personally love my Superflex coils. I have about a 1/2 inch rake with my front Toytec coilovers

oh, 1/2" isn't that bad. I was thinking it'd be all stinkbugged. And that's 1/2" rake with a plate bumper on the rear or just the stock bumper?

Just a stock bumper with no weight.

I have a rake on mine it's about 1 inch, but I have not adjusted my toytech c/o so there at the setting toytech put on. I'm waiting to see if my new rear bump will do anything to the rake before I adjust my c/o.

Just go bro with it and do a front lift. I think mine actually sits lower in the rear by about a 1/2"-1". I just can't lower front coils any further.

my 891s are starting to sag real bad from the weight ive put back there. thats lots of gear and a dirtbike hanging off the hitch. so im thinking about the 861s. that will give some rake unloaded. haha they give 4-5 inches of lift unloaded.

You want to trade the superflex for my 8 wraps?
My 8 wraps will give you the lift you're looking for!

In other news, look what I scored off Craigslist:
I just need to stock up on CVs now and I'll be ready for that front locker.
And here's a picture of the current condition of my 4runner:
That dirt has been there for close to a week now. Does that bother you
