No machine alignment shop
Does anyone know of a shop in OC that does manual alignment and not use a machine?
I know there is one in LA county, Bear frame and wheel. Something similar.

I do not know if they use a machine, but Clarks House of Suspension in lake forest is awesome! He's blunt and I don't think I've seen him smile, BUT HE'S THE MAN!
He's done the install on my miata and the alignment 4runner. Also did the alingment on my dad's jeep with a 4in lift on 37s

I'm sure they could... Anyone with a tape measure can set toe easily enough. When I lifted my truck I set it pretty close to get me to Bears. The last time I was at yotamasters they didn't have turn-plates, lasers or anything like that. It's not a tire shop. But that was at the old place. Who knows maybe they do it at their new place..?

Not in the OC but Johnson's Alignment in Torrance
Johnson?s Alignment Service - 10 Photos - Tires - Torrance - Torrance, CA - Reviews - Yelp)
they do manual alignment which is a pretty coin. The master tech there taught Darren at West End Alignment which only does race cars...

I'm late to this thread but if anyone needs alignment help in the OC,
Vodies in Garden Grove is the best. They have a rack and also use the old style bubble gauges when needed for our lifted trucks.

I believe he gets $80-$85 for an alignment which is the same as most places. Had them install my Icon c/o's and dakar leafs on my Tacoma last year and that included an alignment for $400 OTD. They are very fair and do great work(one tip is to get there early in the am as they get super busy). Hank earned my business for life about 30 years ago when I first when there on a referral from a friend.

I used to do it by hand at my uncle's shop, and he still does, but I can't always make it to Hollywood and he doesn't always have time to do it for me. I still think that's the best way to get an accurate alignment. Not too bad, I'll have to give them a call and see if I can get in early Monday or Tuesday, but I'd have to wait around because I can't just drop off.

They don't do appointments but open every day at 7:30am M-F. If you get there right when they open he will usually run you right through. It takes an hour or so. They will use the machine first but if you are lifted and cannot be dialed into spec then they will break out the hand tools. For the record I do not work for them and just recommend them to everyone based on my experiences.
