2wd to 4x4, your opinions?
I bought a 2wd 2nd gen a few days ago. I wanted a 4wd but said screw it and got the 2wd because all the 4wd's were thrashed. My question is:
would it be worth it to just put in a locker and keep the 2wd?
or should I do the complete 4wd conversion?
It won't be until later down the road. Taking the engine out tomorrow, have a head gasket kit on its way.... lots to do before then.
Thanks!!

Threw in the lift and took it for a spin ( by threw it in, I mean I spent my whole Saturday on it. (My lady helped me a ton and got to learn a bit. she is a trooper!))
Then I got myself high centered trying to find its new limits. Luckily a few guys stopped to winch us out after I'd been digging for a bit.
At least it wasn't a jeep getting me out

Yeah those can be a PITA. My last Few Subies all had retroquick kits from the Retrofit source. That was easy and done in a few hours. Im debating about doing one in mine, I tried HIDs and the glare is minimal but not right and I hate to be blinded by improper HIDs .
