No I don't run dedicated winter tires. I have exactly what you have. 4wd and those tires have done what I needed them to do for California. But if you're looking at winter tires I've heard good things about the Cooper ATW's. Basically an all-terrain designed specifically with a winter tread compound and winter siping for snow traction.

The KO2's are rated for snow, though that's different than a dedicated snow tire.

Another option might be a good set of chains, which if we get to chain control R3 Cal Trans will make you carry/use anyway

Hey Guys! Just got my 4Runner earlier last month and its my absolute first foray into anything offroading. Broke 500 miles and went with some coworkers to Cleghorn and it was a blast. Does anyone know where I could look up maps online with the specific markers like the punch bowl and etc? I'd like to learn some of the landmarks to know which offshoots to avoid in the future.

There used to be (perhaps still is) a regular/monthly meet-up in Orange County; that's all I know about that had a real, regular cadence with good attendance. Was originally organized through the Expedition Portal website forums but I can't seem to find it anymore. Good luck and post anything you find here please!

Whats up guys, finally got around to installing the leveling kit, and im obsessing over the difference it made, bad front struts gave it a nasty camber in the front that was fixed when they were replaced.

Most of the time the steering wheel issue is because your tires/wheels are out of balance. You should get them balanced again. It's that or a tread wear issue due to your previous strut/camber issues. No smog help from me sorry haha.
