Before I moved out of SoCal I went to Cleghorn 2 times. It's a great trail. Easy parts, difficult parts, but there are bypasses. I went with OEM tires and no lift. No problems, just don't try the crazy stuff.

I did air down to 15, that may have been too low, but I never slipped a tire. 18 may be a better choice.

I would go with another 4x for safety and to watch what they go through first, then decide if you want to try a more difficult section.

Enjoy that T4

If I still lived in SoCal I would be there. This time I would turn on the locker and go up between the power towers a little way in. Missed that last time.

I'm going tomorrow with 2 other people. Someone else said they're going with a large group too.

For sure. I think there's a group of like 10 now ready to go. We're meeting at the entrance at 8:15. Roll out at 8:45

Would a stock 3rd gen be able to do anything? I'm in the IE but feel like it'd be a waste until I get a little lift and some AT tires.

Its a fun and scenic trail... I made it up a few offshoots in my stock ‘99 and ‘16..
even if you just stick to the fire road, you will have a good time

Yup. Meet up with the crew, wheel, get to camp, drink a beer or three, GTFO

It really is fun to bring the fam. I wouldn’t really know because my wife is not 100% down and my daughter is only a month old, but I do enjoy hanging with other fams and seeing how much fun the6 have together. Can’t wait to take my little girl wheeling & camping.

Here's some flicks from my Saturday Cleghorn run. Met up with some dudes on here but didn't run the trail with them. I had plans with some friends already. I am always down to hit local trails.

Not on the driver side. I did hit my rocker panel though. I don't have sliders but I finessed it enough to just scratch it. I had pretty competent spotters to help guide me down.
