Shop to do press work for rear axle rehab

Need to replace the rear axle seals. Will do bearings while in there.

Purchased all the parts then found out the labor is mostly press work. I don't have the tools to properly R&R the parts.

Any recommendations in the area between Lake Elsinore and Temecula, or North County San Diego?

Thanks!

I had a great experience with Vista Drive Line. It’s off the 78.

I have a friend/his shop out here in Palm Springs and he fabricated an actual press plate mount just for our axles/ bearings ...good work of course.

I'm looking for one too, could anyone share how much they paid and what they had done? (did they cut off or reuse the retainer rings and skid control gear, one or both sides, etc..)

Oneluv13T4R, do you have a name of that shop? With the custom press setup, is he able to re-use any of the retaining rings and the skid control gear?

Even when using a press tool, I have always replaced the retainers. One holds the bearing in place and one has the seal riding on it so I think it makes sense to replace them. Abs tone ring can be reused.

Well even saving the $20 on the ABS rotor is better than having to buy it. I'm still trying to find a shop though, the one in Vista that was recommended above is telling me they won't use outside parts.

I can do it for you for a reasonable cost. I'm not very close to you though and I'd need you to bring me the axles out of the truck so not sure if that works very well. Shoot me a PM if you want to discuss further.
