Dec 8-10 trip?
Looking for peeps and ideas for an overnight trip.
Would like to camp Friday night and possibly Saturday night.
Open to just about anywhere except the Sierras which is too far for a short trip.
Mohave, Death Valley, Big Bear, Los Padres, Anza Borrego...
Obviously to include some off-roading trails, mild to wild I’m good to go.
First few post replies that indicate some concensus then I’ll put something together or happy to tag along with anyone who’s already got something happening. My wife will be joining me
Thx

You could run pinyon canyon; the squeeze, heart attack hill to fish creek, sandstone canyon then back out, diablo drop off, mud cavrs, arroyo exit at s2.

Nope. Not SAS’d till mid next year. For now double locked with 37’s gets me most places. Going to have to SAS tho because buddies I wheel with have all SAS Taco’s and 4R’s. I just don’t have the articulation they have which holds me back in the big rocks.

Jesus, I can't believe you stuffed 37s. How much body lift did you have to do? May need to rethink my next tire. I'll be going 35s by next summer, which I'm gonna try without a body lift, and just cut everything, but I may rethink that for 37s. Hrmmm.

Only a 1.5” body lift but had to do a lot of body work - move one body mount back 2”, cut and box a new footwell, move rear axle back 2.5” with longer links and cutting and hammering. Took a LOT of hours. Would not do it again - just hold off for the SAS - thing was I needed new tires and didn’t want to buy a new set of 35’s for a short time then have to go out and spend in a new set of 37’s when SAS. I actually want 39.5’s when SAS’d but that will have to wait. I’ll have Wyatt at RickSolidToys.com do the SAS for me. He’s the best at that and has a shop set up just for that type of work.

Nice! This weekend is 2 of my roommates' bday's, so if they are good to go we are gonna bring lots of beer and go shooting Saturday, and then camp for the night. Not too much wheeling involved. Still up in the air. If they bail, I'm down to cruise the petroglyphs.
I wanna see those 37s

My buddies aren't able to go so that plan is out. Still seeing if I can go on the petroglyphs run on Saturday, gf has a little surgery on Friday. Supposed to be a warm and windy weekend....
