Kinda sucks almost seems like the main dudes (not Miah) don’t really care to have a good turnout. If they dedicated some more time it would be pretty epic

Yeah, I don't get it after how successful last year was despite the obstacles with the permits. Hopefully it still ends up going well and next year goes a bit smoother. They really need to have trail leads/trails planned out before summer hits so leads have the opportunity to really run the trails and chill on them when it's not 100 degrees.

Shouldn't be that hard to nail down leads. It's plenty of time to make vacation plans from work for the event and commit to being a lead. Had I known about it before committing to leading John Bull, I would have made different plans and run Odessa at least twice by now.

Me either! My wife's due date is Today, but no baby yet. It should be good for his 1st wheeling trip.
Is Miah still around? I haven't seen him post anything in a while. I'm really grateful for all the runs he put together. My family and I always had a great time and got to meet some fantastic people as well.

Congrats!!
Yea he’s still around, him and the team have been working hard to get this event going. The official website should be up soon and announcements concerning registration and whatnot

Hope I can get time off work and the bosses approval from the home front. How hot is it typically this time of the year?

Weather was pretty nice last year, but I don't remember the summer being as hot as this year either.

Last year was really nice, high of 82 or so. Average is around 90 I believe. Not too bad really.
This years summer was the same as last, hope we get lucky again but if not at least we’re acclimated to the heat lol

Last year was perfect weather and with option to shower after wheelin was cheery on top. Wheelin, sponsored breakfast and dinner, movie night and seeing all the different yotas, feeling really excited this year.

I just saw on Facebook that it’s now going to be on February 22nd. Is this true?

WTF. I've already taken off work and booked my spot. What happen to "...the dates were already submitted to the BLM..."?

Maybe BLM is not playing nice again...maybe we just show up and have a good time regardless of whatever the hell is going on.
