Bishop fall colors - Oct 4-7?
Most years, my family does a long weekend in the Eastern Sierra near Bishop during fall color season--late September to early October, depending on the year.
We have a usual campground that we go to, but this year I'm thinking of going offroad up into the Coyote Flats area instead.
Either Sept 27-30 or Oct 4-7.
Anyone interested?
This would be a kid trip... mine are 11 and 14.

I'd be interested but could only join you on the weekend (5 and 6 October).

I'll be up there around Oct 12-21, probably stop in the Sequoia Redwood forest at the beginning of the trip and be near Bishop towards that first Monday.

Such a nice area to offroad and camp, I highly recommend it. I might be interested in joining depending on which dates.

@ Kamalani Mahie
I would say that it's not too late... but... yeah, it probably is too late to have a couple kids between now and then! :-)

Looks like last weekend in September is out for me because of work, so we're looking at the first (long) weekend in October. Oct 4-7... if Mother Nature cooperates and it looks like (a) there will be decent color that weekend, and (b) the weather will be OK.
I'll be watching the fall color reports for the next couple weeks. Looks like there isn't anything quite yet...
