The SoCal forum has been a little dry on events and runs as of late so cross posting this for awareness as not everyone uses Facebook:
(This is a direct copy and paste from the San Diego ORV Club Event Site and the San Diego 4runners Event Site)
I assume to join the event you might have to join FB and sign up or contact the event organizer external of FB and set up the logistics.
Have fun!!
NOTE 1: I'm not affiliated with this tour group, just posting so you are aware and have some options for runs ... and while it sounds pretty sweet, I will not be attending as have a prior work commitment during this time frame.
NOTE 2: Local ORV Clubs in your area may have specific events for the club only. Suggest looking at your local club and cross posting as approved for more public events.

Tour of Baja California Norte
Join us on a tour of Baja California Norte. Starting at Tecate we’ll drive down the Sea of Cortez to Bahia de Los Angeles and San Francisquito. We will then drive across the Peninsula to Bahia Tortugas and up along the Pacific side, through Ensenada and cross the border back into California at Tecate 10 days later. We will be mostly remote camping, but there are options along the way to get a room and a shower.
Most nights (particularly on the way down the Sea of Cortez) we will be camping in remote, rugged-terrain areas with no facilities. We will be passing through towns on the way, but we recommend you must bring all food, water, & camping supplies to sustain yourself and your passengers. On the way up the Pacific side, we will be passing through larger towns. If you have any questions or concerns I am more than happy to discuss the trip with you.
This trip is a kid/dog/family friendly adventure!

This will be a great trip but will require preparation and stocking up on supplies so plan early. I make the assumption that participants of this trip have camped out in the wild before having to be completely self-sufficient so the list of requirements above is not exhaustive. If however, this would be a new/first-time experience for you, please reach out to me directly to answer any questions that you may have or help you with your preparation!
I look forward to exploring with you!!
