San Diego area water/mud this weekend 12/28-29?

I'm looking to hit some trails this Saturday or Sunday (12/28 & 12/29) and am wanting to find some water and/or mud. Anyone interested?

Heard from one friend who did the Coyote Canyon water crossings earlier this week and had fun. Good water going on there. Not sure how much rain the desert is getting this week again...

Note that I am in a stock 4Runner (TRDORP) and am not experienced in recoveries--so it would be great to have some folks along who are.

I have a recovery strap and the attachment thingy for my tow hitch, but don't have a winch and also don't have an aftermarket front bumper--so no front attachment points other than the two tie-downs. If needed, I would distribute the force across both and hope that it works.

Anyone want to get wet and/or muddy?

Oh I would love to go but unfortunately my rear bumper is just bare metal at the moment. Going to get it powder coated asap.

Just saw this and I wish I had seen it earlier. I'd love to go as well. I'm a bit of a novice myself but let me know if you have any interest in doing this in the future. I'm based in San Marcos.
