Closed to visiting, or camping? I think J tree is open for visiting, and I don't think they can stop you from camping outside the park. Come in from the top, drive thru, camp outside the bottom.

I was out there last Friday. I didn't see any posted signs about closures, and the arroyo tapiado mudcaves had lots of people. I didn't camp though, maybe improved sites were closed.
I'm almost always down for an anza trip.

Went out there and camped this past weekend. Good amounts of people out there camping in dispersed and "developed" sites. Camped out at Sheep Canyon; cool camp.
