*Sedonafest 2014 :: Sedona, AZ :: September 12-14, 2014*

*** Sedonafest 2014 has been cancelled. Please visit www.sedonafest.com for more information. ***

After a year off, Sedonafest is back! This time it is bigger and better than ever! Mark your calendars and start making plans for Sedonafest 2014!

Join us in beautiful Sedona Arizona for the 7th annual Sedonafest. Taking place September 12th-14th 2014, this year’s event will have more to offer than any previous:
- two full days of trail runs
- trails brand new to Sedonafest
- more technical trails plus more expedition-style runs
- catered meals
- new events
- new sponsors
- ameteur radio license testing
- amazing raffle prizes
...and much more!

We regret to announce that we are delaying registration for Sedonafest 2014 as we work out the details of the event with the Coconino National Forest. Everything is moving forward as planned, however we would rather not accept registration fees until the details have been solidified. We will make another public announcement when we have a new registration date.

Event check-in for registered attendees will start on Thursday September 11th. Trail runs will start on the morning of Friday September 12th and continue on Saturday September 13th, with the conclusion of the event to occur on Sunday September 14th. In the Sedonafest tradition, this year will bring together the Toyota off-road community for a family friendly fun filled weekend with good friends, great Arizona trails, amazing scenery of the Coconino National Forest, and spectacular raffle prizes all while raising money for a great charity.

September.......I hope I can make it. Sounds awesome. All vehicles welcome? Novice trail rides available? Only saw the hard core FJ's doing some gnarly trails.

Absolutely! The event is open to all vehicles, and is focused on Toyotas. We typically have a number of 4Runners, Tacomas, and Land Cruisers register each year. The goal of the event is to get together like minded folks for a family friendly weekend of wheeling, camping, exploring, and good times around the campfire all while raising money for a great cause. As for the trails, all with the exception of 1 (Smiley Rock) can be completed in a factory equipped 4WD Toyota. The video you see was filmed mostly on the Broken Arrow trail and nearly all the optional lines made it into the video. We also have what we call expedition style trails that explore roughly 100 miles of forest roads and two tracks throughout the area and highlight beautiful mountain lakes, pine forests, wide open grass lands, and cactus filled high desert. Check out our trails page at Trails | sedonafest.com for more info. We will have GPS files and tracks up on the web page in the coming week as well which will give you a good idea where these trails are.

Please do not hesitate posting up here, send me a PM, or contacting us via out web page with any other questions or concerns. We hope to see you at Sedonafest!

How does the major forest fire happening now between Sedona and Flagstaff effect this?

Thanks for asking! We are a bit concerned with this as well and we are keeping a close eye on things. As of now the fire has not affected any portion of anything having to do with Sedonafest. However, the fire is getting close to a trail that we are planning on offering up as part of the event. If the trail burns or is closed, we have a Plan B in place to either route around the burnout or scrap the trail and add in a new one. We are working closely with the Coconino National Forest Service to ensure that we are able to work around this. The good news is the beautiful location we will be using as the Sedonafest Headquarters on National Forest land is not in danger and we do not expect that to change.

Yes! There is plenty of room for large trailers. Not only around the Sedonafest Headquarters area but both East and West of the area on National Forest land. Each year we have a good number of large RVs show up at the event without issue. Please take note of the fact though that all areas around the event headquarters are National Forest land dispersed dry camping.

Please let me know if you have any specific questions or concerns. I can provide you with a bit more detail in regards to the location. Thanks!

Just a reminder, we are now just 2 weeks away from open registration for the biggest and best Sedonafest yet! Registration will open at 7:00PM MST on Wednesday June 11th. You can register by visiting www.sedonafest.com. Be sure to get in early as this event will surely sell out!

We are also excited to announce that Mad Wood Firewood is once again a Sedonafest sponsor. With Madwood on board you will be able to pre-purchase bundles of firewood for $4.00 each at the time of registration and you can pick up your paid for bundles when you arrive at the event. No need to pack in your own firewood! Mad Wood Firewood is seasoned and ready to go. They will also be on-site during the event selling firewood as well. Support our sponsors and a great locally owned business!

We have lots to do and still have some big announcements on the way. As always, stay up-to-date with the latest Sedonafest news by visiting our Sedonafest Blog.

See you in Sedona!

Everyone, we have run into a technical issue with registration and have moved the registration date back to Wednesday June 25th. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we must ensure that the registration process is flawless given the potential large rush we will see when registration opens. Nothing else about the event has changed.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about the registration date change please contact us via our Contact Page on Sedonafest.com.

Thanks!
