We can do sugar shack/raymert mine. I forgot another potential trail that I've mentioned before: Montana Mountain which is just north of the 60 and less than a mile east of the 79. Its a beautiful trail and not super challenging when taking it from the west to east. On the backside of the mountain, heading down, there are some pretty sharp switchbacks that could be difficult going up with open diffs. Also, towards the bottom of the backside there is a cool little stone cabin ruin. So, there's another option. I believe earlier in this thread I put up some pics of both Sugar Shack/Raymert and Montana Mountain.
Lets come to a mutual agreement and get out there for a good time!

Heck I'm down to run sugar shack/raymert mine and Montana Mountain the same day. Don't mind the practice....on mild to moderate trails.
I think we will have many hotter days ahead to hit up those coves around butcher jones.
PS: nice job on the upside down vid Farms LOL

Montana Mtn is a looong trail, it would probably too much to do both in 1 day unless we got started pretty early and did some parts of the trails at night.
So, if we're going to do Raymert/Sugar Shack, I'd like to start off the 60 and finish at Cottonwood Canyon since I know that way and have done that way before. I'll get a map for the meet up spot, but its going g to be at Mineral Mtn Rd about a miles or so east of the 79 on the south side of the 60. There is an obvious turn off and a decent size staging area right off the 60.

OK, new to the 4Runner crowd. Just traded the FJC for a '15 TE. I am sure that I don't need to ask, but may the 4 of us join the expedition on Sunday? Me, my two teenage girls and one "BF" that may not come back with us. (What happens on the trail, stays on the trail, right?) ;-) My vehicle is stock other than beefier tires, and I am hoping to avoid pinstriping. Am I with the right tour? :-)

Definitely! The more Toyotas the better..... I can't say there won't be chances of pinstriping but we can do our best to avoid as much as we can.
Looking forward to meeting more Toyota people
