I just got my lift on and once my rear shocks come in i want to put the new suspension to tne test. Who is up to a wheeling trip in the next few weeks? Also up to ideas in where to go for this one but nothing too crazy.

I'm going to try and go this weekend. My truck has been out of commission for almost two months now. Not sure yet on the location, but it's either going to be up around the Flagstaff area (just FS roads near Mormon lake) or Butcher Jones rec area. Just got to get the tires dirty...
And Jeff, let me know where you end up going. I don't think I'll be up for camping out, but definitely up for some wheeling and a late lunch/early dinner with you.

I'll keep ya updated. still haven't decided. I was thinking about heading to Montana Mtn - run that trial which is kinda long but not difficult by any means, but extremely scenic and there is some cool stuff to see out there. Its been probably 7-8 years since I've been there, back when Cecil was just a baby turtle:
The trail ends about pretty close to Superior. I was thinking about doing the trail, head into Superior and eat at one of their famous restaurants, then go setup camp at Oak Flat. Get up Sunday morning and either do Montana Mtn again backwards, run a trail or 2 off Mineral Mtn Rd or just head home.

Any idea when the shocks should be in? Let me know if you need an hand - I have a bunch of tools and a new 33 gallon air compressor that doesn't get used enough
I also have a bunch of camping gear I'm planning on thinning out soon cuz i just got a bunch of new stuff. Are you looking for anything in particular?

If my rear shocks show up in time i will be down for a saguaro lake run on sunday. The casino is a few mile back track for me. If no shocks this week then the 3rd mught work. It wiukd be fun to do a different area.

We could meet at the 4 Peaks staging area, or skip taking the long way and just meet at Butcher Jones parking lot on Sunday.
As for next weekend - I'm open for anything at this point, I was just throwing out a suggestion. It really depends on who wants to go also, I wouldn't want to pick something too hard for a stocker to take on if there are any interested... hint hint cf_coder
And depending on how much time everyone has. We could go check out Hassayampa wash in Wickenburg, Castle Hot Springs out by Lake Pleasant, some of the trials around Table Mesa, Bloody Basin/Sheep Bridge/7 Springs. I'd even be open to the back way to crown king if we get enough interest.

I'm good with whatever... Don't pick a powder puff trail on my account. I can always run Box Canyon or just toodle around the Mineral Mountain/Cottonwood Canyon area while the big boys go and play in the rocks. :-)

So - what is the official decision about Sunday? Someone mentioned Box Canyon, I mentioned Butcher Jones - I'm open, I just need to get on some dirt!

10-4 Box Canyon it is!
Who's all in? I'll be there possibly my buddy Ryan and maybe Shelly & Melany - they drives Geep's so go easy on them, They have a lot to learn.
Meet up time and place?
Typically when I go out there, we meet up at the Shell on the 60 in Gold Canyon - I understand some people are coming from San Tan/Queen Creek area; those of you coming from that way, we could meet up at the shooting area down Price Rd - hows 9:30-10ish at the shooting area for everyone?
