Tucson is just a little cooler than Phoenix, as it is a lower elevation, but it definitely does get into the triple digits in the summer, so the difference isn't as notable. Dry heat is much better than where I was from in NY. I was working on my vehicles today and did not sweat at all. If I was back in NY i would have been drenched and miserable. Even the humidity during the rains in monsoon season aren't as bad, but again, my opinion.
A/C and water will be your best friend. Other than that, come on down!
