Stick to the 17x8.5 size if you're afraid of having too much poke.

265/70/17 with a 3" lift will look like this.

This is 17x8.5? Doesn't seem like too much at all. I would like even a little more.

If you have a picture that would be great.

this is the best picture of poke I had on my last rig. an inch or 2 outside the fenders would be in the ball park.

I'm new here. I have a 93 4Runner.

I'm running oem 15x7" wheels (8 offset) with 32x11.5 BFG. I have OME Shocks SDori Lift 1.5" front and 2" rear.

Which 16" wheel spec would you recommend and tire size?

Thanks!

Personally, I prefer the look of 3.5" bs on a 3rd gen for some wheel/tire poke. If you like more of the flushed look then consider 4.5" bs. Otherwise 3.5" bs with 265/75/16 would look great with a mild 1.5" lift.

Hey Vin

So I have an 05 and just did the lift.. will a 275/70R17 fit on your 17x8.5s? Based on the pix.. whats the offset/bs of them? 4.5 or the 3.5

Thanks

I've got an 07 SR5 with Icon 2.0 lift. Would like to go with some 16x8's in F5 flat jet black. Wondering what backspacing/offset you'd recommend?

275s can fit with some minor trimming done. The photo of the silver 4Runner is our 17x8.5 4.3" bs size.

If you want the wheels flushed with the fenders, you'll want 4.5" bs. If you prefer an aggressive look with some poke pass the fenders then consider our 3.5" bs option.

I recently just came across your F5 wheels. I saw them on a Land Cruiser in the neighborhood. I'm really interested in obtaining a set but not sure what sizing I need? I have a 2001 4Runner Sport Edition. I believe it has a 2" lift.
The wheels and lift currently on their were from the previous owner. The only information that I can provide is the tire size is 265/70r17. What's a better fitment? The 17x8.5 4.30" BS or the 17x9 3.5" BS?
I'm pretty sure the current wheels and tires on there don't rub or I haven't felt or heard them rub so I'd like to keep it that way if possible!
Thanks! Love the look of your wheels without the JDM breaking the bank prices!!

You will want to stick with the 17x8.5 size for the least amount of rubbing issues.
