SCS SR8 Group Buy - ENDED
SR8 Group Buy
Starts: 7-31-14
Ends: 8-8-14
The SR8 group buy is finally here!!! We know that the anticipation has been exciting for most and nerve racking for others that have been waiting for months. The container is about 1-2wks away from arriving at the port and clearing customs.
For those that have been following, due to space limitation and production delays, we are somewhat limited with our stock. We will try our best to please everyone, but depending on how successful the GB goes, we might not have enough wheels for everybody.
Orders will need to be place in sets of 4 at this time to maximize the number of sets we can offer. We typically do not charge a fee for canceling orders, but for this GB, there will be a 15% canceling fee. Please only follow through with the GB if you’re positive on committing to the purchase; otherwise let the other members get a shot. Once you commit to a wheel finish, we will not change the order!
Available finishes coming in this container:
SR8 17x8.5
- Matte Black - SOLD OUT
- Matte Dark Bronze - SOLD OUT
- Matte Bronze
- Matte Gunmetal - SOLD OUT
SR8 16x8
- Matte Black - SOLD OUT
- Matte Gunmetal - SOLD OUT
If you agree with everything above and you’ve made up your mind and ready to place your order, PM me and provide me the following info and I will send you a Paypal invoice. Your wheels will be secured once the invoice is paid.
- Email address
- Full name and shipping address
- Wheel size and finish
I will respond to the PMs in the order that they come in and it’s going to be a first come first serve basis.

Any other pics? I'm close to pulling the trigger. A straight on shot of a gunmetal wheel so I can photoshop it on my 4runner? Pretty please?

Anyway to ask to hold a spot for black if someone drops out. Also interested in the bronzes but am waiting on real pics. Stinks that the group buy will probably run out of time before we can see some real pics of product in hand.
Black would be a safe choice in terms of ordering sight unseen.

Two questions for you;
1. Am I correct in assuming that The Matte Dark Bronze you list here is the same as the unnoffical name of "Matte Root Beer" you have listed in the product release thread?
2. Do the lugs (I'm assuming your speaking of lug nuts and not the bolts in the beadlock, but i could be incorrect) come color matched or could we get Gold lugs to match the beadlock bolts?

1. I read on another thread of his while looking for myself, trying to make a choice, that dark bronze is really close to his root beer on here.
2. Black lug nuts is what come with but he did offer an option of chrome to another person in this thread or the other as an option.
Hope I helped as I have read again and again trying to make up mind...I wish i read it before the matte black sold out.

Oh Vin you know I am tempted!!!!
Matte Bronze would be the way I would go but I would need five and that would mess things up probably. I will wait for a bit and order a set from you. Got to get my cyclocross bike first though!
Cheers

1. Yes, matte dark bronze = root beer
2. Yes, lug nuts. All of our wheel finishes look best with black lug nuts, but we can supply chrome upon request.

I'm sorry, but we do not have a side by side comparison at this time.
