The RMO people are great... lots of solid people with well-thought out rigs. Plenty of parking and the venue is kid and dog-friendly. You'll even get a free RMO window sticker for participating.

A NON-4runner specific meetup!?
I'm kidding I'll definitely stop by one night.
I think it would be good to crash that party, but I would also worry most people could not get there in time for a 6pm start time.

I will say that I am open to joining the RMO meet up, I am also not above stealing
@ KeithMaine
meetup spot for the first meet.
How does everyone else feel about it?
A: "That date works for me, and I need the extra HP of another window sticker!" Join the RMO meet up. Next one is 5/10?
B: "Make our own date" How does Third Wednesday sound? First meet would be 5/18
C: "Party on Wayne! Lets do both dates"

You guys do whatever you think is best, but I can tell you that if you do the RMO night, you will see more cool iron than even at an all 4R event (gasp!). The way the RMO event works is just a bunch of people talking with each other and having a cold beer. Half the time, people are out in the parking lot looking at trucks and toys. What makes RMO great (besides the cool sticker) is that there is no membership, no dues, no rules and no obligations except to maybe have a cold beer at the meet up, meet some decent people and maybe tag along on someone else's trip. Some of the RMO peeps are really up on backcountry navigation technologies, communications and APRS, all of which can be useful if your 4R gets off the pavement.
My overwhelming preference would be to be in Arvada longer on one night than to have to drive there on two different nights, but I defer to the group. I can tell you that RMO needs more 4Runners. There are typically a bunch of Tacos, JKs, Cruisers and Land Rovers (in that order) present. I hope all of the area 4R people will add the RMO meet up to their calendars.

Not to thread fork, but I joined the RMO Meetup and will most likely make the next one. Is the venue kid friendly?

Yes, the venue is kid friendly. I occasionally bring our girls 8 & 10. There are a selection of board games that they can play... sometimes they bring their own. They sell soda, have water and a small assortment of snacks, just like any other brew pub. As the weather warms up, the food trucks start piling in, which is always nice. The location is in the back of a light industrial area so there is no traffic other than what we bring.

Do we need to register through RMO or can we crash the party? I'm going to be a last minute crasher if I can get the hall pass. I've got 3-4 nighttime hall passes to get approved by the boss next week. Lol...
I would love to meet some Colo T4R peeps as well as to see some of the cool RMO set-ups.

@ KeithMaine
@ Rotorgeek
Is the proposed 6pm T4R meet before RMO happening? I'd love to tip a cold beer and meet some new T4R friends.

I was planning on it. Tuesday is typically all day meeting fest at work, so I'll need to blow off some steam.

Colorado...
REMINDER: All 4Runners (and their owners) are welcome at the Rocky Mountain Overland meetup at Odyssey Beerworks in Arvada, Colorado. RMO peeps typically arrive around 7:00 although there was some talk about the 4R crew arriving around 6. I will be there a little after 6:00.
Hope to see everyone there! You will get a free Rocky Mountain Overland sticker just for showing up and having a cold beer!
