Colorado meet and greet
Hey everyone,
What do you guys think about a mobile, Front Range meet & greet? I propose we start a meet up once a month and move it to a few parts of the state. Every month we can move it up and down the I-25 trail. I think most of the people are in the Denver area, or could get here easy enough. So for example... We start in Denver. Then, Ft Collins or Boulder. Then, back to Denver. Then, Colorado Springs. Then back to Denver, and so on.
We would need locals to suggest new places for the meets. We don't want the Jeepsters to figure out our habits!
Post up if you are interested, and if you would be willing to travel to the other locations (and which ones).
I'm in! I would do any of my proposed locations.

In! And I too would be in for anything along the Front Range. The whole reason for getting the 'Runner was to explore more of our great state (and our awesome neighboring ones.*)
* At least the north, west, and south ones.

I'd be game. Would be great to meet other forum members and unlike Halko, I don't have to ask my girlfriend. I wear the pants in this here family. :-)
Ouch. Sorry guys, gotta go now. My girlfriend just threw a shoe at me. The woman can read a laptop screen from 20 ft. LOL

I was just talking about this with another forum member earlier this week. I would be interested in this if you guys would let a poor 4runner from Wyoming join in. I could also extend an invitation for people to come up to the Laramie area if anyone had an interest in it.

A Colorado meetup is a great idea. My suggestion is to tag-team on the Rocky Mountain Overland monthly meetup which is held in Arvada on the second Tuesday of each month at Odyssey Beerworks. The RMO meet up is from 7-10 p.m. There is no reason why the 4R people couldn't meet at 5:30 or 6:00.
The RMO people are great... lots of solid people with well-thought out rigs. Plenty of parking and the venue is kid and dog-friendly. You'll even get a free RMO window sticker for participating.

Is is a "go"?
