I think this would be tough to get to in a truck. At least I've never seen easy access when I pass by. Not far from the MTB trails at Rowlett Creek though.

yea, AFAIK its not a legal off road trail, and its just lots of mud and ditches. not exactly fun unless you are in highschool

The Lonestar Jamboree at Gilmer wrapped up a couple of weeks ago.

Theres a facebook group called Softroaders that look like they're based out of North Texas that recently did a labor day beginner's trip. Looked cool but I couldn't make it out there. I'd search for that group to hit up the North Texas areas.

So are Barnwell in Gilmer and Northwest OHV in Bridgeport the only two real places to go around DFW? They're both pretty far away and only open a few days a week.
