'05 4R with 90,000 miles - sketchy?

Hello,

I am looking at a 2005 4Runner with 90,000 miles on it. From the pictures, it looks to be in great condition. Should I be worried about it only having 90,000 miles on it for the sake of engine corrosion and other serious potential issues? How big of a risk do you think this would be?

It is located in the Southwest, so rust shouldn't be a concern.

Only thing to be concerned about is head gasket. If rough on start and white smoke out exhaust and obvious engine light walk away.

If it was well-maintained, 90K shouldn't be an issue. My '03 4Runner has 318000 & still runs fine!

Sounds like a good one to look into.
Check the vin at Welcome to Toyota Owners to see if they have service history. get ready to do the timing belt $$$ if not recently done.
Pull a carfax and see if any extra owners or wrecks they are not telling you about.

Otherwise if nothing comes up fishy go for it

Don't assume the location means no rust. Some people move vehicles from rusty states to the South and hope no one notices. Also make sure it wasn't part of the flooding in Texas the past few years

Really crawl up in there. Once you start tearing into the truck youll start to see all the spots you neglected to check and kick yourself in the a$$

90k is actually pretty low milage, my cousins has 350k and he still daily drives it
