Hey everybody, might be bringing one home this Saturday.Been looking for 3 months while the rebates grow.Hard to find the Salsa Red, but my salesrep-lady from Falkner in Harrisburg did in ten minutes what several dealerships here in Maryland couldn't manage.28500 with bug-guard, exhaust and pedal finishers, carpeted mats. Most 4R's in our region come with the cargo self, daytime light package etc.On the road price 30500 or so.I'll check back in if it happens! Mike.

I've dealt with Faulkner and they suck - you ought to try Koons Toyota in Westminster - I owuld guarantee they would beat that price hugely - ask for Dan Thomey and tell him Pat Lippy told you to call

Check out Carmax Laurel Toyota. They have great prices without the haggle headaches. Where I bought mine.

Mike, we tried to buy my 06 Tundra from Carmax. Took the drive from Cecil County on a Satuyday got things lined up for Sunday.Had a tough time with communication but thought we were clear.Went back Sunday but truck was still sitting as it was ,where it was when we left Saturday.Glad you made it work for you though.Truth of the matter is I guess, we like who we deal with at Faulkner and where it is.Their P.D.I guy is "old school"so we can count on him to do his part.Pat, Dan was busy last night but I spoke to the sales manager. He beat the Faulkner price by $250. The accessory package puts their price close enough though.

Is that $28,500 with the rebate? I just got my 08 SE V8 w/ sunroof and JBL stereo/XM for $29,998 w/ rebate- but I turned down the rebate (so $32,498 but got the 0.9% financing for 5 years from toyota- the edmunds.com calculator says that saves more money in the long run. Without the sunroof/xm/JBL it would have been $29k w/ rebate, or 31.5k with financing. So sounds like the right ballpark to me.

I got a 08 Urban runner for 31800 with all weather mats, (and you know lot of things come standard with UR package) and 0% financing for 48 months. After reading these forums I have been wondering if I paid too much.

Offer $100 over invoice than minus the $2500 rebate.
At least $4500 off MSRP should be the norm in this market

I'll know for sure tomorrow but with the extra 'dodads' this one will invoice for 31000 and change. If I'm right my 28500 is 400 or so under invoice.Like I say though, never having seen one in Salsa Red in person it may be too dark for us.

I have Salsa red. It's very nice. I did a 'hook-up' deal and drove to get mine. I must admit I was surprised when I saw it in real life. It is not Tacoma Salsa Red (I'm sure it's called something else). It's a Japan production color I think because all the other Toys except Cruisers have a color that's close but different. The T4R Salsa is a bit darker. I like it because, well, I like it:D It's not too purple which is a pet peeve (sp?) of mine with colors in the dark red family. Too dark? Well, of course it's a matter of taste. I will say I don't like it when people would call it a wine color, it's lighter than that.

I will add that lighting is HUGE with this color. It's like have a T4R that gets painted a new shade of red depending on the weather, time of day and cleanliness.

My fav has to be the Lexus red used on the '07 IS series.

Thanks for the info Chris, I've always had the white or silver paint over the years....'OFIR' (old fart in rut) Anyway what I do like about the red is that nice 'flake' it has, first thing I'll do is Duragloss the heck out of it!............IF- we bring it back.

Didn't buy at Koons, stayed with Faulkner at Harrisburg, third vehicle we've bought there.Always a smooth easy deal.4Runner msrp was just under 36000, bought it for 28500,with equipment already on it that I would have gone aftermarket for.Koons called back beating this price by $100-200,like I said we like the people and the area at this dealership.I go in with my offer and without games or lies we leave with our vehicle.

Let's see some PICS!

Sorry 'bout no pictures but we haven't a way to post 'em yet.Still getting the new computer together and no digital means or scanner, but we're shopping.Chomping at the bit to get the 4R clayed, polished and waxed..... by the weekend for sure!

I agree. I always get a better price at Koons but give hanover Toyota a chance to match - if so I stay in Hanover. It's a business - let the competition compete I always say.
