1988 - Approx. Value?

Hate to sell this thing, but I just bought a truck and am moving soon. Trying to gauge the value of ol' blue. Here are the details:

Price includes custom, marine vinyl bikini top
New Cooper Discoverer A/T3 31x10.5 tires - less than 5,000 miles on them
Very little rust on body or frame
Manual WARN hubs installed at 139,000
4x4 works great
Timing chain was done at 135,000
Valves adjusted at 139,000
Regular oil changes
Body is pretty straight
Original paint - patina on hood and roof
Electrical is good
Back window motor is still strong
Only 148,000 on the odometer

$2,000-$2,500. If it were in near pristine condition it could go for as much as $5,000. Some of them sell on Ebay for a LOT more but they are absolutely mint. Buy your runner is in average condition and is all stock. Good luck selling it!

Thank you. That's where I was at on it. I wasn't sure if I should ask for $3,000 or not. I will price at $2,500 and hope to move quickly.

Ask 3k, that way when they offer you 2500, youll still be coming out on top. Good luck with the sale!

You didn't say where you're located, which makes a big difference as prices vary a lot across the country, but $2000-2500 is reasonable.

Assuming the tags are from where you currently live, you're in ID... too bad you're 3k miles from me, I'm looking for a decent 1st Gen.
