Just wanted to post a thread of my 4Runner and the progress I'm planning on making to it. Leave comments and thoughts for me.

1997 4Runner Limited 3.4L V6 2wd( I hate that it is)
165,000 miles and climbing
I run Royal Purple Oil
I've changed out the transmission fluid and filter twice
Put a new rear end in it and changed one axle along with new gear oil
I've put an aftermarket intake on it, I picked it up from a bud for $10 it works
265/75/R16 General Grabber AT2 Tires with factory wheels painted centers


Thats as far as I've gotten with her so far. I have great plans for her but no money haha. Downfalls.

I think it's supposed to match his confederate flag.

Edit: What is that rat's nest in the engine bay?

It's a coolant temperature gauge

It's actually orange paint.

And i got a dixie horn and was really excited to put it in and haven't gotten around to cleaning it up.

Can you elaborate more on where you mounted your dixie horns? I'm lookin to get one but I'm not sure where Im gonna mount them yet. Pictures?

It's behind the bumper and lower valence there's a sort of cross bar and I just bolted the horns onto that bar. Amazon.com: Wolo (430) Musical Horn - 12 Volt, Plays Dixieland: Automotive thats the horn i got. I had to use my own sort of mounting brackets for the horn. And I had to get hose for the horns. I picked up some fuel line at Autozone.




There was a hole already on the fender well that I used to mount the compressor. And then just very crudely wired it up.
