My right blinkers don't have signal at my 4pin. I popped the rear cargo panel and checked the signal there w no luck. It goes down into the inside of the body and maybe leads toward the front of the truck. What is the furthest point forward that it connects so I can test for signal at the source?

My 4Runner had some issues with the 4pin the PO had installed at some point. It ended up being the module that controls everything (mounted to the frame near the spare tire). I replaced that and was good to go. I'm not sure if that will help, but may be something to look at. That being side, all of my wiring was more or less within reach while laying under the back of the rig. I had pulled the taillight lens in trying to track down the issue, but found everything in good order. That's when I decided to try a new module and it's been fine every since.

The module (if stock) can also be located in either the driver's side or passenger's side rear interior panel, below the quarter panel. Mine was on the passenger's side when I had a similar issue, no lights to the trailer. It's a small black box of sorts.

^^^ This. On my '99, the stock box was on the driver's side. My '97 parts truck had it on the passenger side and my recent replacement (both the '99 and '97 converters were not fully working) goes on the passenger side.
If the box is on the driver's side, it would make sense that the passenger side is not working - it will be a single wire connection that runs across the back of the cargo area under the plastic trim or the back area of the carpet. That probably has a problem (broken, etc.).
If the converter itself is bad (also very possible), aftermarket ones are cheap and plug-n-play (~$35 from etrailer.com or similar retailers).
