Hello - I have 2004 V6. Any issues or concerns about towing a 3100lb car on an auto-trailer about 200 miles (relatively flat terrain)?

Towing 16ft cargo trailer

Hello Everyone, reviving an old thread I know, but I just wanted the opinions of anyone who has had experience with this. Im moving this weekend about 5miles away from my current house and my boss is letting me use his 16ft cargo trailer to help with the move and it weighs 2000 lbs empty. Ive hauled a 12ft cargo before fully loaded with no problems, but i dont know if the xtra length and weight would effect my ability to haul it
Any opinions/ response would be appreciated!

You should be fine since you're only going 5 miles, be sure to load the trailer so you don't have excessive tongue weight, if you have the 5 speed transmission use 4th gear so the transmission is hunting for a better gear to pull the weight.

I have the V8 and pull the same size trailer fully loaded with furniture over 100 miles one way and then back empty, had no issues at all other than a bit of sag in the rear from the tongue weight.
