I think thats up there for a three year old vehicle, but not terribly bad depending on the type of driving that was being done. My 2003 sport 4runner was years old i had 93k on it. Only major, non-wear and tear item I had to replace at that point were the front brake calipers which had seized up, so having a look at the brake system is probably a good thing.
Best thing to do is probably have a mechanic who is familiar with toyotas take a look.

I got a 2007 Sport with 93,000kms...oops that's 58,000 miles.
Like the previous poster, it's been rock solid (minus the seat pop). Electrically and Mechanically zero issues. Love it.

I think that's sort of up there for an '07. As everyone else is saying, my truck has been problem-free since I got it (a '03) in '06.
If you're really interested in this particular 4Runner, find out more about it. Where is it located? Is that a place that would require mostly city-like driving or is it not so stop-and-go? If it's city-like, then you need to be more concerned about things because of wear and tear. I'd rather get a truck with a little more mileage if it's been driven in a country type of area (without traffic/lights and such), then get one that has less miles but it's been driven in a city or something; they're rough miles. This would be my biggest concern when it comes to mileage. Also ask the seller what they were using the truck for (to get to work everyday using the highway, or what?)
With the 4Runner though, I don't think it would matter so much. I'm sure it does slightly but I've never had such a dependable vehicle in my life, and I drive a mix of everything.

I purchased an 07 SE with 70k on it. It had been driven quite a bit on the highway so I wasn't too sure. Be sure to do your homework on the vehicle, look it over well and pull all of the past service records for it. I have had mine for about 4 months now and have had no issues.

I have a 2005 Runner with 95k on the clock with no problems, except for replacing all my pulleys due to muddy water damage from off roading.
