I'm thinking about trading in my paid off 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD sport Prerunner Double cab. I'm looking at the 06-09 Toyota 4runner. I found a 2007 LTD V8 with 56k miles and the dealer is asking $24995. It doesn't have navigation. Do you guys think I can talk them down on the price? I really don't want a car payment but a 4runner will suit my need better than the Tacoma. Also those with the V8 what mpgs are you getting?

I have a 03 sport with the v8 it gets about 15 to 17 in the city and about 19 on highways of I take it easy. Imo I think 24 grand is a litttle too much for a 07. How much are they offering you for your truck

I bought my 06' Limited V8 w/ NAV and 67K, with a clean Carfax on it for less than 19K. I found it in Mt. Airy, which isn't too far from DC. This was in June of this year.

As for mileage, I have the V8 and my wife has an 08' V6 and I avg. around 17, with mostly highway driving, while she gets just over 20, with same driving habits.

i got an 09 limited v6 45k miles with nav last year for 26k. i think you can talk yours down a bit, i would try at least $1500

I found a 2009 limited v8 with 36k miles for $33999. Imo thats very expensive for a 4th gen I might as well get a 5th gen but I hate the body style. This 09 is very clean and was a corporate fleet vehicle. How rare is it to find a 4th gen with a V8, factory toyota rear dvd player? I wonder if i can get for $28,000

I paid 12K for my 2004 limited with V8. It's two wheel drive. Had 86K on it. I didn't need 4wd. This was through a private part and it required some work on my part to find it for that price.

$25,000 for a 7 model-years-old midsize SUV? What is it with these threads? Do people not shop around? Dude, you can buy a brand spanking new Kia, Ford, Jeep, GM, Subaru, heck even a Toyota Highlander for that kind of cash. Why do people even remotely consider paying this kind of cash for an old truck with little to no factory warranty left? I love my 4Runner but I paid $13,500. There is no way in **** I'd have given more than $15K tops for a 5-10 year old anything.
