2008 4R V8 DIY Oil Change

Help! I found a really good deal on Mobil 1 at Costco and planned to change my own oil. I have done on all my other cars but 1st time with the 4R.

I can't find anything in the manual about the location of the oil filter. Is there a sticky or DIY website that shows the location? Thanks in advance.

It's near the bottom of the engine. If you remove the big metal skid plate (which makes the job easier and cleaner anyway), you'll see it. I believe there is a thread with pics somewhere.

As toto mentioned, you will need to remove the front skid plate. There are 4 bolts to remove then the plate will lower down towards the front. There are tabs on the front of the plate to keep it in place while you remove the bolts. Pretty cool. Anyway, once you remove the plate you'll see the oil filter.

...you have to remove the skidplate.

I believe there's no pictures or Sticky...can you please take pictures when you remove your skidplate & do the oil change.
