2014 Trail Ed rear recovery/ tie down hooks

I was out crawling around under my rig when I noticed there was no hook on the passenger side rear, but there is one on the right bolted to the frame. The bolt holes are there, and it looks if there was one there, it would touch the exhaust. Am I missing one ? Is that how they come ?

My 2010 TE has a rear tow loop on the driver's side. This is how they come.

Good one, you made me look. Only one on driver's side on my 2013 TE. I planned to use the hitch with a hitch pin through a yank strap before I got a hitch plug with a shackle.

I've found the tie down hook on the driver's side protects the rear on that side. I was thinking of cutting my exhaust tip shorter (since it is mangled anyway) and installing a second hook on the passenger side to protect the bumper. Has anyone else tried...how did it work?

I had the exhaust turned out the passenger side. This will allow a hook to be mounted on the passenger side and you can drive with the rear window down without worrying about exhaust gasses coming inside your 4R.

I like the shackle in the trailer hitch.
