2018 is Starting Out Really Well

It's got some scrapes on the fender flares and the driver sideview mirror is scraped up too. The front bumper has a small crease in it but I don't really care about that either. Both bumpers will be coming off in the near future.
The paint is definitely in nice shape. It was obviously garaged most of it's life. Just like my first 3rd Gen, I'm going to do more damage to the paint in the first year of ownership than it received in the previous 20 years because I'll be taking it off-road and it will get pin-striped rubbing up against branches. I enjoy a nice looking rig but mechanical care is more what I worry about. I'm not the type to be seen waxing my vehicle every Saturday morning and worry about getting some mud caked on the underside when 4-wheeling.
It's going to be fun building this one up. Sean (aka infamousRNR) has been bugging me to start modding my other 3rd Gen but I'm going to be putting my modding energy mostly into this one. I doubt I'll ever get into serious rock crawling where the chance of smashing your body panels or rolling the vehicle is very high but it will be cool to be able to tackle some more technical trails going camping and/or mountain biking and getting back in areas my current rig can't handle.

but even if he doesn't, we have a TRD supercharger instal video planned in the next month on my main bae...so stay tuned... and by tuned i mean 7th injector and DYNO eventually...

Nice pick up (pun intended) Tim. If I had to do it again I would get one with an elocker. Took the rig out camping in snow last week and got stuck a couple of times. Luckily I was able to shovel out of it but it would've been nice to have especially since i was by myself. We should do some camping/MTBing once you're ready to take it out.

Yeah, no plans on supercharging mine, but like Sean has said, we are going to be filming his supercharger install pretty soon. So, stay tuned!
