2019 TRD PRO w/sunroof???

Was just watching 2019 Tacoma TRD PRO Overland review on The Fast Lane Truck. Roman said that the Tacoma will now include the JBL sound system and sunroof as standard equipment. Was he mistaken? And if so, will the 4runner TRD PRO also be available wih the sunroof? I know it is in Canada.

If you watch another video he posted where he was in a 4runner Pro (https://youtu.be/dypF89SNoOk ). It doesn’t have a sunroof. So the 2019 4runner Pro in the US will not be equipped with a sunroof.

Yes the 2019 pro 4runner will have the option for a sunroof. An employee at Toyota already ordered a 2019 pro and his will have a sunroof.

Yes the 2019 pro 4runner will have the option for a sunroof. An employee at Toyota already ordered a 2019 pro and his will have a sunroof.

AHH... I did not know this. I almost pulled the trigger on a Cavalry Blue PRO last year but I had to have a sunroof. Ended up with a Magnetic Grey Off Road Premium. Awesome truck. The crawl control already saved me when I was stuck on the beach. Not sure I like the VooDoo blue as much. I'm gonna have to wait and see what 202 brings.

Ha! I guess that's the proof!! Now I'm kinda wishing I waited one more year. I traded my SR5 premium for the 2018 Off Road Premium. I'd take too much of a beating to trade after one year.

Do you know what the sticker was on his PRO? I'm sure they're passing along the cost of the JBL audio and moonroof.

Sorry, I did not ask him the specifics of pricing, but im guessing as an employee he most likely wont get the dealer markup. He is hopeful it will show up prior to year end, but thinks it might be early of next year.

I think it’s the best to see it in person because those features on the paper can sometimes be mistyped or maybe the buyer asked the dealership to install it after the vehicle has been shipped from Japan to their lot.
For example,there was a 2018 trd pro at my local Toyota and it had KDSS system on it. I don’t know if it was a typo or the customer specifically wanted it.

The snapshot of the sunroof and other 19 pro features was directly form Toyota themselves, they sent the bulletin out to all the toyota salespeople, in preperation for the 2019s coming out

I’ve said it a few times. It wasn’t an option when I built mine on the employee website. Not to say they didn’t leave the option out for employees but it seems like a pretty major option to just leave off for us. I hope I’m wrong for all of your sake
