2024 Tacoma Wheels Hub Diameter fix?

So I'm looking at some new takeoff 17 inch 2024 Tacoma TRD wheels with tires here locally. My understanding is that the hud diameter is different and to use on a 3rd gen you either need and adaptor or to have the hubs machined out slightly.

Anyone done either of these? What were the results? Adaptors would be simpler so who has done those and what are the pros / cons?

TNGA platform uses M14 studs, so the wheels are not compatible in two different ways. (offset and bolt pattern, yes; center bore and stud size, no) I'd suggest finding other more compatible take-offs.
