3" lift plus new tires fit in my garage?

Hi all.

Well it looks like I'm going to be needing a new set of tires here pretty soon. I have a 2007 limited with the 18" wheels. I really like Promed's lift and tire setup and I'll probably go that route too but with the Toytec Ultimate 3" lift. Utilizing the same Cooper Discoverer SST 275/65/18 will allow me to also fit the fifth in the spare space. What I was wondering though is that my garage doors lowest point is 76". My stock Runner's highest point which is the rack at 70". If I put the 3" lift and the new tires will I be able to still fit it my garage?

Your stock tires are about 30.5". The new tires are a little over 32" IIRC. If you go 33-30.5=2.5. Only half of that will contribute to overall height so add 70"[stock]+3"[lift]+1.25"[tires]= 74.25"

My guess is it'll be scary closebut it'll work based on your measurements. I used 33" as the tire diameter to build in a little fudge-factor. At 74.25", even if the lift comes in a little over 3" you should be fine.

Lol... I wouldnt worry about it, especially once it settles... a week after I got my 2.5 inch lift, I feel like its really only a 1 inch lift!

its like buying a 1lb burger and then after its cooked its only a 1.4lb! :0)

lol, yeah, thats what happens when you miss the / and get the .

1/4 lb burger after cooking...

the point is, : the lift kinda settles in a bit.
