30,000 Mile Maintenance Must do?

The infamous 30,000 mile service is approaching and I was curious where you all take your 4Runners? Is it important to take the Runner to the Stealership for the 15k, 30k, 45k, 60k, 90k etc. If and when I do take my 4runner in for the 30k Service what should I look for? The maintenance book has suggested to change spark plugs, change oil, rotate tires (Normal stuff) but also suggests lubricating 4WD? Have any of you taken your truck in for the 30k and did more than the recommended service or less for that matter?

Did it myself, as most of the items aren't tough, just can take time especially if you haven't done it before. Also, I have a v8 (which may have different plugs) if it matters. The following leading up to or at 30,000:

1. Change the engine oil, oil filter, cabin air filter, engine air filter and rotate the tires if you haven't.
2. Change the fluids to synthetic. This includes the transmission, front and rear differentials.
3. Lube the drive shaft (3 locations on the front, 3 on the rear) to prevent the driveshaft "clunk"
4. Check the brakes and pads. Some folks report seizing of the pistons in the caliper and it's better to find it earlier than later.

And I believe that's basically it. If you have X-REAS check for leakage, if you have 4WD make sure you engage it and drive it around to lubricate the bits.
