This is the truth...every hydraulic PS BMW ever has a leaky PS bottle. I understand the thinking that they aren't that good, but, I'll say in this day and time, it's nice that someone is making good driving rear wheel drive, manual sedans.

Late 90's and early 2000's E39s. And an 86 735i, You couldn't give me a 3 series, no really I wouldn't take it. I drove a 2002tii back in 1984, it was a fuelie. I worked on bunches and bunches of them.

My e46 325i and e83 x3 are pretty easy to work on, they share a lot of parts too.

I agree, my e46 325i MT is easy and enjoyable to work on, parts aren’t too bad if you shop around a little and they are very reliable with appropriate care. Mine has almost 270K on the original engine and tranny and runs perfect. I do love my 3rd gen 4Runner MT as well, but both vehicles serve a different purpose
