My current power steering pump whines and the reservoir return line is leaking so it's time for some power steering R&R.
I went through a few threads and I couldn't find a solid answer on how technical it gets to rebuild a power steering pump.
I pulled a spare pump from the parts yard and I want to rebuild it on the bench before swapping it out for my current unit.
The rebuild seal kit Toyota P/N is 444653030
Other parts I am replacing:
reservoir low pressure line 4434835250
No 2 return line 4441735011
Return Assemby No 1: 4440635021
Main pressure feed line hydraulic assemby hose 4441335010
power steering rebuild seal kit 444653030
crush washer? 44327-30040
4 quarts of Dex III or similar fluid (anyone know Toyota P/N for the fluid?)
