4Bt is a great little work motor, but I wouldn't ever put one in something I wanted to enjoy driving. Noisy shaky stinky little motor.

Good point. My 22re at 3100 rpm on the highway with no carpet is loud enough for me. Looks pretty clean in there though, and I'd love to have the pulling power in a package that looks that good and is bomb proof.

I've run 4BT cummins in marine applications for years. They are a little loud but not excessive. at least not any louder than an early 90s cummins dodge.
