Interesting about the power regulator.

I always install bulbs with a fresh set of gloves to avoid imparting oils on the lens, I haven't had an issue with oil on a bulb with any of my customer's vehicles when I do it.

I figured you didn't have that issue. That intro was for everyone else that reads this stuff.......how would I get oil on my bulb? Maybe they will get the gloves and oil connection.

My light just burned out on the driver side last night while I was driving in some crazy rain.

Were your PIAA 510s only burning out on the driver side?

i suggest getting some hella bulbs or osram bulbs. good value for the money. the piaa i used to use all died too quickly. maybe it cam from a performance shop that cater to the domestic vs imports, the ones i got from an import shop always lasted much longer.

Anyone with a SW bumper tried putting LED cubes in there instead of the PIAA? Mine have been burnt out for a while cause like the OP I got tired of buying them yearly.

I have not but would like to see how much light they throw compared to my current fogs
