Yes it is...not very capable in muddy terrain but I still love it! Good enough for camping trails and easy to mild terrain. Otherwise I have my little brother to help pull me out.

Dang! Looks badass! Probably does more than my '04 Sport 4x4.

But I got a v8! hehe
 
So far I like it! mine isn't a VVTi tho, so I'm only at 235 Hp, but it still scoots! and with the Exhaust Cut out open, People think it has a lot more.. :)

I got the TRD intake and debating on the Gibson exhaust. But then again Toyota didnt make a TRD exhaust for the 5th gen. So is an exhaust necessary if toyota didnt think to even make one for it?
 
Completely up to you, Performance wise you probably won't notice anything, just more noise. so it's entirely up to you and what you think about the sound of your rig.
 
I dont care too much about sound. Form over function! If toyota didnt make it then I dont think it really needs it. I kinda know it wouldn't do much but I'm just jealous that my brother has a TRD exhaust on his tacoma when toyota had the 40% off for 40th anniversary.

2wd Runner can do more then most people think but you do need to take the best lines and have a good spotter.
