5th Gen Headunit Install to Early 5th Gen

I tried looking around, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if the stock dash trim and headunit from a 2018 SR5 could be transplanted to an early 5th gen (2012)? Don't know if the the clips and bolt patterns are the same. I'm assuming the headunit itself can't go in the early 5th gen dash trime since the button placements look a bit different.
