Took Delivery of a 2022 4Runner TRD PRO yesterday.

As background - I have a super low clearance to get into my garage - so before I ordered it I asked the dealer to confirm the height spec of the 2022 4runner. they confirmed the spec in the brochure.The brochure that states "72 inches with the TRD PRO roof rack". That did not seem possible - so I reached out to Toyota Brand Engagement and they replied that the height of the 2022 4runner TRD PRO is 72 inches......
There are no TRD PROs at local dealership to get an actual measurement from....so I placed my order for a 2022 Magnetic Gray.

Drove it home yesterday ---- guess what?
It actual height with the roof rack is 77 inches.

I just wanted to warn you the spec quoted in the brochure is wrong. Toyota USA Brand Engagement is wrong........

This afternoon I am heading to an "open house" as I see this as the only rational solution - time for a taller garage !

The garage I have at the cottage is fine and it fits, but I will probably do what you suggested in the fall when I head back to florida. Thanks for sending that info......
I just wanted to warn others that the written specs in the brochure are NOT CORRECT

they provided you the right height which don't include the roof rack.

they gave you the wrong number because TRD PRO stuff is added at the port in the states, not in Japan when it's built and they actually have the specs.

or delete the top bar of the rack like a couple other guys have done if thats even enough room.

Full length setups look absolutely terrible. That FJ cruiser rack looks far better. I'd keep it stock.
