A fun drive in San Diego

Out of curiosity, I checked out a trail off Interstate 8 at Buckman Springs Road. I think there is a hang gliding area at the top of the hill, so this is an access road that heads up there. If you're looking to go for a scenic drive to kill some time without heading too far from the city. It doesn't take too long to make it to the top.... maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Conditions are very tame, but it's fun to get off the beaten path.

Careful with those tires tho :

I inspect the dunflops on a regular basis. If anything, I'm looking for the slightest excuse to upgrade to some better tires. I want to ride these ones out as long as I can, then ditch them for some upsized BFG AT KOs. I'll probably do it before this winter when I start heading out to the desert more. The thing is that I also want to get a lift to go along with the tires, so it'll be a big project. A fun project though.

I use Vinylex on the interior and the wheels.
