A "Touch" of Advice needed

I pulled into my garage last night and brushed against the garage door with the cladding above the rear wheel. appears it did no body damage but shaved some white paint onto the cladding.

Which product would take this off while doing no harm to the paint. Appreciate any insight:biggrin2:

Hey, alaskaman! My wife did something similar with the SR5, she shaved the left jam of the garage door with the bumper. If it's just regular house paint over the clear coat then I find a good cleaner wax usually works pretty well. Which is why I keep a small bottle of Mothers cleaner wax around or even use some left over Turtle Wax Platinum. They both seem to have a mild amount of cleaner in them to get "other paint" scrubbing of the paint. You probably have to work it in there a bit but it does come off. If that doesn't get it off completely, I would move to a mild polish like Meguairs Crystal polish, it's not that aggressive. It's the underlying scratches (hopefully not) that's a bit harder to buff out.

You can try Meguiar's Scratch-X. It's a bit more aggressive than the typical cleaner wax or polish. It removes most swirls in clear coats, like around door handles. I used Scratch-X to remove scuffs when this stupid brawd backed into me (it wasn't the 4Runner, if it was, she probably won't be walking).

If there is garage paint on it, clay bar it off, use scratch remover on any scratches, then get some wax on it and buff as needed.

Thanks men. I took it up to Maita
Toyota body shop here in Sactown (the people who fixed the vehicle when the hood was dented and scratched) He put some "thinner" on it and it came right off. great people there. thanks for the ideas for the future. =)
