I’m just going to take it to my local locksmith. I think last time he did my Tacoma key for like $30 with a new key....so I’m thinking around $20 for me.

How did you get different colored buttons? Order another set of buttons? Also, anyone have any suggestions for making the TRD on the back of the fob in red lettering? Paint?

I ordered an extra set of buttons. There is another vendor that sells the stickers to fill in the inserts on eBay.

Got it on it. Transponder chip was a PITA to take out but works perfectly and well worth the trouble.

Key fob and shift nob arrived this week. Key fob was an easy switch out and it looks awesome IMO. Originally I ordered the long shift nob... but it ended up being too long to shift down into 2 or L. Adam was awesome and got the short one out to me. Got it installed today and am very happy with it. Shipping both times was super fast and Adam was great about the exchange. A+ service and top notch gear.
