Hey folks,

Fantastic forum; I'd say it definitely influenced my purchase of a 2007 FR Sport today, and I can't wait to get started. A die hard Explorer driver(yes...yes...I've heard all the F.O.R.D jokes....), I wish I'd driven a Toyota 16 years ago. Now, 100 percent converted, though I gotta say, the gen 4's are better than the 5's, IMHO.

Thanks for providing a great venue for this addiction.

2007 V6 Sport. Stock, for at least another 12 hours, until UPS shows up with the boxes from Wheelers!!

Welcome to the forum! Can't say I agree with you on the 4th over 5th comment... but glad to have you here regardless haha.

I was going to try to get a get-together set up for sometime in June, I know there are quite a few GTA guys on here, as well as over on TacomaWorld. A nice little 4Runner/Tacoma meetup.

Anyways hope to see you out on the road!

Thanks, and count me in for any meet ups.

As for the 5th gen, I actually couldn't fit in it; I'm only 6'1", but my head sits firmly against the moonroof support panel, with the seat lowered below a comfortable driving position.

Can you recommend a good shop/mechanic in the GTA for 4Runners?

Really? I'm 6'1" and fit fine. Though I always like to have the seat low. I don't recommend ever sitting in an Infiniti G37 coupe though haha, even with the seat lowered all the way down my head still rests on the roof.

I've just been going to the dealership since it is a new truck and we have free oil changes for the next year or two + extended warranty. Check out SONTT, they are a southern Ontario based Toyota truck club, there's probably something on their site. I'm not a member but do lurk!
