Hey, just want to let you guys know watch out for cops, My buddies ran ds yesterday and the 5-oh stop them. They got a warning but the cop told them that there have been complaints lately.
Any Interest in a Sunday 08/31 Deer Springs San Diego run?

Well now I'm thinking not. I don't want to drive on any illegal or no-tresspassing trails.

Ugh, that sucks 
Though not totally unexpected.
If people wanted to go on a little bigger adventure in the back country (Though less technical fun) We could do a run up the back side of palomar mountain.
Total including stopping for lunch in Ramona on the way bak would be about 6 hours. It's an awesome trip for the views and the trail is a bit of fun up the backside. Steep and windy and narrow, but it is maintained so no huge ruts. Also no real side trails.
There is also a somewhat shorter trail up the front side of palomar, I've never been on it though so it's a bit of a mystery.
But heh, 9:40 the night before may be a bit much to get people on board
SO maybe next weekend or something.

Just to be clear, I'm passing too. Dun need to push getting a ticket. Got a ton of work to do to the runner this weekend anyway and going on a 2 day Big Bear trip next weekend.

LMR and I called it off. I did not realize this was private property.
With the work I do (government & private) , I cannot have a trespassing charge. Speeding tickets can be explained as long as they are reasonable but even that requires a written explanation.
Anyone who has ever done an SSBI will know what I mean.
So only legal (or plausible deniability) trails for me.

Oh ya, that could be bad for you huh. I forgot about your job haha.
It is a bummer that people care now. I've wheeled at Deer Springs for the last 2 years and never once had an issue with any people. It was a good place that was close to me where I could test new parts out.

Yes sir. Sold the 4runner, moved to Texas and bought a Tacoma. I'm working for Massimo Motors now in Irving. Looking at buying a house in about 6 months.
