Anybody Sold your T4R lately? What did you get for it? I need some price advice.

A friend of mine just traded in her 03 v6 4x4 limited 130K with Nav and only got $6500. That was after going to 6 or 7 dealerships.

So I have a 2008 SE with 58K. I was curious what I can get for it so I checked kbb and it came up if I sell the car on the street I can get 23K and the Dealer would give me 19K. So I went to my local Carmax and they appraised it for 20K but they will sell it probably for 24.5K. Any ways I'm not planing on selling this beauty any time soon. I take my 4Runner hunting road trips and every where else we go. Any ways don't sell your car to a dealer they will stiff you big time. If your really want to sell it then do it the right way and sell it on the street and make more money, but that is just me. 4Runners are like tanks so there is no point in getting rid of them. Oh and by the way I would never buy an SUV that has 4x2 it has to have 4WD, 4x4 or AWD.

That is actually pretty good for a trade in. Especially since it doesn't have a V8.

It was below book value, but she got pretty much the same response everywhere that they didn't want it because there is very little interest in SUVs with the current gas prices. I would have thought the v6 would have been of more interest.
